Colorful Christmas Tour 2019

Kids’ rooms are my favorite! I’ll take any opportunity to have a little fun with color. My daughter, who’s 10, has the perfect room for just that. She’s been begging for a more “subtle” room these days (whose child is this??) so I’m soaking in these final days/weeks/months (who knows when we’ll change it) with her bright, sweet room before switching over to the “chilled out” teen room she’s hoping for. Boo hoo! Where did the girl go who used to never want to leave the house without a sparkly headband?

Thank you, Jennifer and Jewel, for hosting!

So, today I’ve joined a fabulous group of bloggers, who love color as much as I do, for a fun tour of some colorful spaces! If you’re visiting from Tasha at Kaleidoscope Living, welcome! Be sure to visit the full list at the bottom of this post so you can see where to head next.

Come on in!

So, last year for Christmas, she got the big white tree in her room. This year, the white tree went to her big sister’s room, and I put a 4 ft. pink tree on her nightstand in a bowl filled with ornaments instead. Frees up space on her floor! The bowl is from Home Goods, the tree is from At Home, and the pom trees are from Hobby Lobby.

Most of the ornaments are from Target or Hobby Lobby- I’ve had them for years and love reusing them! I’ve linked similar ones at the bottom of this post.

A fun way to add some Christmas cheer to this cheap viagra bangkok room was to wrap her bed with icicle lights and hang some big ornaments! It’s magical at night! I just used white zip ties to hang the lights, and thin yellow ribbon to hang the ornaments.

On the bottom shelf of her nightstand, I added some bottle brush trees and a cute Christmas truck, but kept items she had that looked perfect with all of this… a yellow frame with a photo of her and our dog, Gibson, that we surprised the kids with Christmas of 2017, and her box of jewelry beads- ROYGBIV for the win!

To finish it off, I found a fun pillow (from Hobby Lobby), and draped her stocking over her velvet ottoman…

There you have it, friends! Another kid’s room in the books for the holiday season! I’m slowly finishing up my family room to share with you. Gonna be honest, didn’t love the late Thanksgiving this year! Really made the Christmas season feel rushed and fast, with little time to decorate! But that’s ok. Still time to get plenty of inspiration from the talented ladies below. Head over to Heather’s blog over at Southern State of Mind next, and grab some hot chocolate and visit the rest for some eye candy!
