Chic Teen Christmas Tree

I’m so excited to share my first Christmas tree of the season! Love participating in these kinds of blog hops because there’s SO much inspiration and ideas to be found! I’ll link all of the bloggers at the bottom of this post. Thank you so much to Stephanie from Casa Watkins Living for hosting, and if you’re coming from Heather & Matt’s blog, French and French Interiors, welcome!

So, the tree I decided to share today is in my thirteen year old’s bedroom. It’s such a pretty room, filled with soft textures and light colors. She loves pink, grey and gold, and it was easy and fun to create something chic and beautiful in this space…

I just love the different textures of the ornaments! I found a set of pink and gold ornaments that ranged ranged from glossy to matte to glittery, and I mixed them with the fuzzy pink ball ornaments that so nicely match the tree skirt- which is actually a blanket!

Here it is at night…

I love this large abstract painting as a back drop for something so pretty! I also added more soft touches by draping a fur stocking on her headboard and adding the wreathe over her bed.

This was extra special because I surprised her with it after school one day. I told her not to watch my stories on Instagram for the day ( as I spent the day showing you all as I decorated). I love that she told me her friends who did watch, texted her to say how much she’s going to love it. So sweet! And I wasn’t completely finished when she got home, so I showed her what was done, and she helped me finish the rest. It was fun to do together!

Stay tuned for the tree in her little sister’s room that I’ll be sharing the second week in December. Until then, head to Casa Watkins Living, and enjoy scrolling through the rest of the list below for more inspo!

Haneen, I understand that in high school you were a friend of Laura M. who lived on Stoneleigh. I see her many times a year and her mom got me on your blog. I love that you don’t always purchase high-end stuff for your decor or what you wear. Your suggestions inspire me to be more adventurous. Thanks, I LOVE it all.
