I love designing kid spaces! Such a great opportunity to have some FUN! I mean, let’s be honest, I don’t limit myself to just kids’ rooms for adding touches of silly whimsy, but it’s just an especially good time when kids are involved:) Thank you so much to Chelsea from Two Twenty One for hosting a blog hop where we get to showcase how we’ve decorated kid spaces for the holidays! If you’re coming from Rain On A Tin Roof, welcome! If you’re new here, I’m a color-loving mom of four using my art degree around the house:)
This is my nine year old daughter, Maleah’s room. Her bright yellow walls made for a fun, non-traditional approach to Christmas…
Is this not the cutest?? Everything is from Home Goods! The ornaments, the garland, the cute car, the sign, the little trees, the wreath, the nightstand, the majority of the bedding, the tree buy antibiotics vietnam skirt… all of it!
There you have it! I LOVE felt ornaments and garlands. Just seems so playful and perfect to use in kid spaces. And that little blue truck is the cutest! Why NOT decorate kids’ bedrooms for Christmas? Her birthday was November 16th, and I actually already had this up, so it was really fun for her to wake up and see gifts under the tree for her birthday:) #bloggerlife Decorated early so some of these photos could be shared on Home Good’s blog! Feel free to visit that by clicking HERE.
