Hi, everyone! Can’t believe 2015 is coming to a close! Thought I’d wrap up the year by answering the many questions I get about our master bedroom. @homegoods and @inspire_me_home_decor have each posted this room a handful of times this year, and each time, along with the super kind positive feedback, I get a ton of questions about paint color and recourses. Thought it might be helpful to put the answers all in one place! To read the back story to this makeover, click HERE. Otherwise, scroll through photos below and find the recourses at the bottom.
Thank you all so much for such an inspiring year, creatively! I started my Instagram page a year ago this January and I never would’ve thought I’d end the year with 30k followers and a blog! This has been so much fun! As a stay at home mom with an art degree, I can’t tell you how fullfilling it’s been to have a community of like-minded people pushing me to think outside the box and find my personal style. As many of you on Instagram have noticed, neutral is HUGE right now. White is everywhere! It’s light and breezy and absolutely beautiful, but I just don’t fit inside that box. So I appreciate you sticking with this color-loving gal along the way! Can’t wait to show you (and my husband! LOL) what’s in store for 2016!
Cheers,
Haneen
And few pix when I had a pop of color in the room…
I put a direct link to anything possible. Home Goods, Hobby Lobby, and At Home don’t offer online shopping, but I included a link to their stores so you can locate the nearest one to you.

Random side note: There are two negative comments that stick out amongst the questions asked about this room and I thought it’d be fun to address them…
One, it drives some people nuts that my bed isn’t centered. To anyone who didn’t notice, our bathroom door is directly left of the bed, so there just wasn’t a way to center the bed under the vaulted ceiling. I suppose I could’ve done it if I got rid of the nightstand on the left, but I liked the symmetry and didn’t want to give up my nightstand! So there you have it:)
And two, some people say I use too many mirrors. Lol! Perhaps, but here’s the thing- sometimes the frame and even the unique shape of a mirror is a work of art to me. I use what I love! When I find something that makes me squeal internally, I don’t question whether I already have “too many.” Also, I just tend to love mirrors behind lamps. It multiplies the lighting and lets off a nice glow in a bedroom. And I don’t think that white mirror needs much explaining. Lol. I could’ve put art there, but to me, the stenciled wall was the work of art, and I simply have a stupid amount of love for that mirror! 🙂
