Fall Home Tour 2021

Happy Autumn, everyone! In Blog Land, this comes a bit late. Most of the time, bloggers share their homes decorated for fall before the season even officially begins, so you can gather some ideas before you start decorating yourself. But… the kids have started school, which means, along with getting ready for the One Room Challenge, my focus has been keeping things organized around here. Doesn’t last long. Give it another few weeks, and there will be a large pile of school papers collected on the counter and I’ll be behind on laundry. Lol. But, I’m trying! And the cleanliness, along with the touches of fall/Halloween I’ve added, is making things real cozy up in here!

A week or two ago, I shared the new Loloi rugs in our kitchen that have really warmed things up…

Find this throw blanket HERE. And this rug HERE.

Since then, in the kitchen, I’ve simply added a few faux pumpkins here and there. This one I’ve had since before we had kids. The stem is broken but I’ll NEVER get rid of it. His face is just so damn cute…

I used a battery operated flicker candle in this. You can find it HERE.

And honestly, there’s no easier way to add fall to your kitchen than a bowl of apples- especially when they were hand picked at an apple orchard! So every time you see it, you think of that fun day:)

This cute pumpkin on our kitchen table is a recent Home Goods find…

Moving into the family room, my favorite place to add festive touches for any holiday, is on the fireplace mantle and the coffee table. They’re focal points in the room and fun to spruce up. Keep in mind when decorating for fall, you don’t need a sign that says “cozy” or “fall is here” in order to make you feel it. Just introduce warm colors and textures, and that’ll do the trick;) I found these faux stems and arranged them in a vase I had from Fleur Detroit.

If you know me, you know I put stacks of books everywhere. The coffee table is no exception. It’s the perfect first layer to any decorating. In this case, it props up a ceramic pumpkin I recently found, and an onyx paper weight I found at Home Goods.

Things tend to play musical chairs around here, so I also tried the arrangement on the mantle…

I just purchased the bust candles recently- worth the splurge! So classic. The portraits are typically in our living room, but I cleared off those cabinets for some Halloween fun…

I usually flank our front door with these life-size skeletons…

… but thought I’d have some fun hanging them from these cabinets in the living room! The kids are getting a kick out of it. And the bowl of bones is a nice addition:)

I’ve used these bones in so many ways. Here’s a tablescape I’ve done before…

Back to the family room! I talked a bit recently about how I have some Halloween decor that isn’t necessarily Pinterest worthy, but they make the kids so happy because I’ve put these pieces out for years!

These adorable figurines have seen better days because they’re years old, but I’ll never stop putting them out! One thing that is recent though, is what I call the John Cusak skeletons. Lol! Found these (and the display globes) recently HERE and HERE.

Haven’t done any decorating in our entrance yet. I’ll be adding pumpkins to our entrance like we’ve done in years past, I just haven’t yet. Here’s a photo for you to pin of it!

And then here’s a glimpse at new pillows in our bedroom. I found these at Home Goods and I loved that they brought velvet into the room and an artistic quality with the drawing. A warm touch for fall!

Shop the bedroom…

Shop the family room…

Shop the kitchen…

Shop the living room…

That’s the extent of it, for now! 🙂 Happy Autumn, everyone!

Cheers,

Haneen

Were did you find the pillows or fabric with the horses on them in your bedroom? Love them.

Love the pillows! I have actually been to 3 different Home Goods trying to track them down with no luck. What brand are they? How long ago did you find them? Maybe I can find them online somewhere 🙂
