Striped Powder Bathroom

Hello, all! We refreshed our powder bath near the garage door! We did it in 2018, and the emerald green wasn’t quite working with the rest of our home as we’ve transformed so much of it into warmer earth tones.

Before…

I wanted something warm, that still provided color, but more muted/earthy. I happily partnered with Home Depot for this!

After…

I started with this lovely autumnal copper/orange paint color from Behr called October Leaves. Fitting, since that was the month I completed this project! Used Frog Tape® to paint, which is always a helpful tool! Refreshing after the pain of pulling the old wallpaper! The new wallpaper is a dream. I went for a traditional stripe, and it was the perfect backdrop for this art and some thrifted goodies.

Can you believe this pottery is from Home Depot? You seriously have to browse their online home accessories! I was slightly influenced by all of the googling I was doing for our trip to Italy. I liked the vibe of this and it looks lovely just sitting on the floor! I always love a good balance, so the arched mirror is both a nod to all of the arches you see in old European architecture and the modern day arch trend that’s having a moment.

Let’s talk lighting! I replaced the Mid Century modern globes for something more traditional. I found this three light vanity from Home Depot and then replaced the shades for these shades to add a touch of black.

I also couldn’t resist adding a ceiling light. Friends, we didn’t connect it! Lol! It’s just for looks:)

I bought a 1980s home with this exact same style of wallpaper in our guest restroom. I hated it and wanted to rip it completely out. I’m so glad I didn’t ! I’m going to style it like you! Thank you so much for the awesome idea ! Your style is gorgeous.
