Happy Spring, everyone! It’s Spring Home Tour time! I always love participating in blog hops hosted by Marty from A Stroll Thru Life! She gathers so many great bloggers filled with inspiration for you to browse through… they’re all listed at the end of this post! If you’re coming from Sincerely Marie Designs, welcome!
I’ve been prepping for new hardwoods floors going in next month! Super excited because I know that will totally transform the feel of our entire first floor. But that means I haven’t put a lot of effort and energy into a full spring home tour. I did however, come up with a simple and fun spring tablescape I’ll show you today along with a few views of spring touches in the family room.
Nothing says “spring” like fresh flowers, so I gathered a happy bunch and decided to use one of my Orla Kiely canisters as a vase. I’ve had these canisters for years- they’re from Target!
More fresh flowers! Tulips are my favorite! I gathered some by the window above the kitchen sink, and threw in some cute moss bunnies from Hobby Lobby, and did the same for my table centerpiece…
Let’s talk about the centerpiece! I always like to try out unconventional ways of using things. I found this hurricane candle holder at Home Goods and thought it would make a fabulous vase. Obviously, water would seep through the seams, so I simply buy somali dirac online used a clear cylinder vase for the tulips and slipped it right in. So easy, and looks great!
Now for the place settings…
I found the wooden eggs from a craft store years ago and used a stamp set to mark names at each place setting. If you’re having a brunch, you could always hard boil real eggs and right the names with a fine point marker, and then your guests can eat them! 🙂 Just a thought!
Those green candlesticks are thrifted:)
Here’s a view with the table cleared off…
And some spring touches in the family room… stay tuned.. in a few weeks the carpet is getting ripped up and new hardwood is going in! Wahoo!!

We recently renovated our basement bathroom, and I can’t resist sharing a photo for anyone who missed it, because it certainly has spring vibes!
