Ah!! This week is so fun!!! If you missed my first holiday home tour yesterday, click HERE. I’m beyond excited for tour number 2, as I’m sharing my family room and dining room. I’ve been trying to figure out just why I was loving decorating these rooms so much for this season, and I think I realized it’s because both of these rooms have changed since last Christmas! I love these rooms so much, so I think I’ve just enjoyed sprucing them up for the holidays because they’re like having new blank canvases. My excitement could also just be because I’m sharing this tour with my closest blogging buddies! So thankful to have met them all this past summer at the Haven Conference in Atlanta (read all about that by clicking HERE.) I hope you take the time to visit them all- I’ve linked them at the bottom of this post! If you’re visiting from Randi Garrett Design, welcome! Randi makes magic in her home I can’t explain. Her rooms are exquisite! And a big thank you to Kelley Nan for hosting this tour! Kelley takes the most amazing photographs! I have a photography degree and this girl puts me to shame!
Oh, hey! That’s just me, sittin’ on my porch with a cuppa Joe, waiting to welcome you in:) Shall we get to it? Let’s start with the family room!
So happy with our new Christmas Tree from At Home! If you watch my Instagram stories, you know my kids struggled a bit with this neutral tree. I moved our “main” tree with traditional Christmas colors into the bay window in the office (You can find that in yesterday’s post). I really wanted this room to be a beautiful neutral space focusing on texture and metallics. Plus our other tree is from the year 2000. The fakest looking of all the fake trees. Lol This one is so pretty! At Home has a nice selection!
Loving the new fabric on that bench! It’s from the Nate Berkus collection at JoAnn’s Fabric.
Pressure was on after last year’s mantle! I went more simple this year. Still used a branch, because I loved the look before, but wanted it to feel a little more organic. I went to the woods behind my house and found this branch- I liked that one side of it would curve around the mirror a bit, while the other end would hold some ornaments. Digging the assymetry:)
The wooden trees on the mantle are from Home Goods. And here’s a look at the other side of the room. Still obsessing over the gorgeous console I also found at Home Goods!
And again from Home Goods, check out this Christmas countdown I found there! I love the mid-mod look of it!
Those cute little houses are from At Home and they’re battery operated. So cute at night!
Also, the sculpture dude’s hat is from Bath and Bodyworks- they sell those to put on the tops of soaps!

Moving on to the dining room! I wanted to create a luxe tablescape for this space. I found beautiful dinnerware from Home Goods in black, white and gold. I loved layering the patterns!
I simply tied on a tag onto matte black ornaments with baker’s twine to personalize each place setting. And to carry the black/white/gold theme, I wrapped gifts in coordinating paper as an easy and inexpensive centerpiece. I also tied coordinating ornaments within the inner circle of the light fixture. That might be my favorite part! I like how it’s a sculptural element; some art, if you will:)
You may have caught this guy in the background in photos above. Lol Our elf wanted to contribute to the gallery wall;)
There you have it! I hope you found something here that may have inspired you! Wishing you a very fun-filled holiday season! Thank you for visiting! You can shop this post below! I’ve linked anything that was available:) And be sure to visit the rest of the bloggers participating in this Holiday Home Showcase, listed below! Next on the tour is Kris from Driven By Decor. Look at this gorgeous dining area of hers!
