Holiday Home Tour #1

Happy Holidays! So excited to kick off my first holiday home tour with Marty hosting from A Stroll Thru Life! She is a sweetheart and I thank her for inviting me along! If you’re visiting from Decor To Adore, welcome! I’m Haneen, mom of four with an art degree, pouring creative energy into my home while I raise my kiddos! Interior design is my passion, and I hope you stick around and browse through my blog to find some inspiration. I’m a color lover!

I will say, I have three tours in the next week, so I had to somehow spread it out so that you all have something new to see with each one. Hope you don’t mind that that means today, my first shared space will be the office! With a quick look at some festive touches in the laundry room:)

Honestly, we’ve always only had one tree until I started blogging. Lol It was the main one that goes in our family room, and then last year we bought one for the foyer. Well, this year we got a third tree. I’m feeling super festive. Lol. So, I typically do a very traditional green/red/white tree in our family room, but this year I was trying to go more neutral in there, so I moved the family room tree to the office. It has a great bay window, and I think bay windows just scream, “Put a Christmas tree here!” And so that’s exactly what I did. The rest of the room doesn’t have any “Christams” red, but I’ve decided not to let it bother me. It beautifully lights the space at night.

Do you all let your children help decorate? It takes everything in me to stand back as they gather too many in one spot, or hang the sweet foam ones they make in school front and center when they don’t “match” the rest of the tree. But the holidays aren’t about the perfect tree, of course.  To me it’s about family and tradition. So excuse the misplaced or mismatched ornaments:)

And a look at the other side of the room…

You can find details of this DIY gold-dipped cabinet HERE. I’m loving this new fur and metal chair from Home Goods! The arrow shelf is also from Home Goods. That store never disappoints!

Couldn’t resist throwing a Santa cap on its head:)

Pillow is from So Vintage Chic

And a quick look at my laundry room shelf staging. Pardon my nighttime shot! I took this late last night! Lol! You can find the the full reveal of this room by clicking HERE.

Please tune in tomorrow as I share my family room and dining room on tour #2! And be sure to visit Hymns and Verses next! Here’s the full list:
