It’s Fall Home Tour time! Always honored to participate in a blog hop hosted by Marty from A Stroll Thru Life. This is a HUGE tour, with 30 bloggers participating! So if you’re itching to start decorating for the season as the temperatures drop, check out the list at the bottom of this post because they’re filled with a whole lot of fun ideas and inspiration! If you’re visiting from Monica Wants It, welcome! Happy to have you!
I kept it simple in the front entry this year with a single pumpkin on this thrifted green chair. As for the back entrance from the garage…
We renovated our kitchen for the spring One Room Challenge, and I love that we pulled down the cabinets that were in this area and added open shelving instead. This is exactly what I was excited for- seasonal decorating! I wasn’t sure what direction I would take, but for some reason these simple rows of pumpkins are making me happy! It doesn’t take much to make a statement, friends!
Moving on to the rest of the kitchen…
I found that gorgeous gold bowl at Home Goods and fell in love with the scale of it. Couldn’t resist filling it with pie pumpkins!
If you’re new here, you may notice I’m a big fan of mixing old and new. I was so thrilled to finally have an updated, modern kitchen, but I was just as excited to balance it out with pieces that had history and charm. I love this thrifted art I found at an estate sale for $5! And the green vase is a cookie jar of sorts (it came with a lid) and I found that for $15. It’s quite pretty!

More touches of gold! This brass lantern is also from Home Goods and I just love the simplicity of filling it with white pumpkins and candles. I LOVE color, but I also like places for the eyes to rest. Especially in the kitchen. I lived with a super dark kitchen for so long, that anything to make it light and bright is welcome! Besides, I made up for it in our living room! If you missed yesterday’s post, here’s a quick peek, or click HERE for a closer look at the DIY painted pumpkins.

Ok, now I’ll take you back towards the kitchen, and give you a quick look around the family room. It isn’t quite finished for fall. The mantle is simply a garland I found at Hobby Lobby, and some fresh squash I found from a farmer’s market. I’ll amp it up as it gets closer to Thanksgiving, and I’m certainly looking forward to doing something fun for Hallowoeen!
Love these pumpkins! And I love the tray and faux fur (also from Home Goods)- really adds a textural element. Have you seen sexier pumpkins? Lol! And I love the brass inlay on the marble tray!
I was so excited to find this book at Home Goods- hooray for local flare! You can also find it by clicking HERE.
