I’m always so happy when I’m able to do a Mood Board Monday! This mood board is somewhat inspired by the direction I’m headed with my own dining room makeover, and I’m happy to partner with NovaFloor® to show you a beautiful option for luxury vinyl flooring! They sent me their sample kit and it was filled with so many color options! You’re bound to find something that works perfectly.

While I’m not changing my own flooring at this time, it was fun to play around with stain color options. I love a light colored floor these days! And I chose NovaFloor’s® French Oak Pebble option for this design. It’s the perfect color when doing a transitional space. It works great with so many different styles- from farmhouse to something modern and chic.

It was the perfect base for the sleek dining room I was going for. I love mixing materials, and this warm wood-look vinyl floor looks great with the modern furnishings I picked out. You can find sources for everything at the bottom of this post.

Aside from the beauty, I’m really impressed by the quality of NovaFloor® vinyl planks. It’s been a family owned and operated, environmentally responsible business for over 30 years.

NovaFloor’s Commitment to Environmental Responsibility :

  • NovaFloor products are rigorously tested to meet the highest indoor air quality standards through FloorScore® testing for VOCs (volatile organic compounds). Our certifications include GREENGUARD Gold and Indoor Advantage Gold Standard
  • Our products are 100% phthalates-free
  • We offer complete manufacturing transparency through Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), Health Product Declaration (HPD) and Declare labeling (products’ contents are voluntarily disclosed to 0.01%). This sets us apart from the majority competitors in the industry.
  • Our manufacturing facilities reuse both water and excess material, diverting more than 8,273 tons of LVT scrap from landfills in 2020 alone. That’s the equivalent  to the weight of 590 school buses!

So impressive! And they have awesome lines to choose from- two of which are Maybree and Serenbe, designed with style, quality, and innovation in mind. Maybree offers longer, wider, thicker planks and tiles, an attached foam underlayment for added comfort underfoot and sound-barrier protection. Your investment is protected against scratches, stains, dents, and abrasions using their proprietary NovaShield technology.

Serenbe has stenciled concretes, crackled woods, classic marbles, cottage pines, and urban oak styles in plank and tile options. Please let me know if you have any questions! And make sure you check out NovaFloor® for any projects you have coming up!

  2. This will be beautiful with the black and gold tones. I have been using Luxury Vinyl for a while now in my remodel designs and am amazed at how much like real wood a good quality LVT can look. Bonus they are super durable.
