It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Wait, what? YES! I love Autumn so much that that’s actually my first-born’s name:) Gorgeous nature, Halloween, and lots of UofM football memories all truly make this THE most wonderful time of year for me. So, when Marty from A Stroll Thru Life asked me to participate in a fall home tour, I didn’t hesitate! I did, however, narrow it down to the pack porch. More of a fall tour to come throughout the season!
If you’re new here, my name is Haneen. I’m a 37 year old stay at home mom of four, using my art degree in this world of blogging. My home is my canvas and creative outlet!
Yesterday’s tours finished with Laura from Decor to Adore. I’m always impressed by this group of women and I hope you take the time to visit them all:) Full list is at the bottom of this post!
So, let’s get to it, shall we? I chose the back porch because we love spending time back here, especially this time of year. There’s a chill in the air but it hasn’t gotten cold yet. Perfect! A few good finds really inspired quite a global look. It really started with this door I found at Home Goods. I’m not quite sure how they had something like this because it looks so authentic and it weighs a million pounds. It’s beautiful!
Everything else I found was inspired by that beautiful piece. Look at the pillows! For me, fall is all about the textiles. I love the velvet and fur goodies!
I couldn’t resist this throw blanket. Love the fringe!
My favorite go-to filler is decorating with old books. They did just the trick for adding buy cheap tramadol online com different heights on the coffee table for layering pumpkins.
Blue is orange’s compliment, so it was an easy choice to mix the two for fall decorating. I like flipping books around to expose the neutral pages for some texture, but I loved the one titled “Full House” because with four kids up in here, that’s exactly what our house is: FULL. Full of people. Full of noise. Full of laughs. Full of love.
I dragged our family room end table out here because I had a random thought to fill it with some pumpkins. I like it:)
The Ikea rattan poufs make for extra seating, extra foot-rests, or just good old extra eye candy. I love them. We’ve had them for years and they fit right in to the global-chic vibe we currently have back here. What do you think? Wanna come by for hot cider and donuts? 🙂
