Guest Curator for Liz Lidgett Gallery

Hi, everyone! Fun little announcement for you today! You all know I have an art degree and a love for art in general, right? Well, I love any opportunity to support artists, so when my friend Liz Lidgett, who owns Liz Lidgett Gallery, asked me to curate a collection featuring many amazing artists from her gallery, it was an immediate, “yes!”

That’s Liz! We met at the Better Homes & Gardens Stylemaker event 8 years ago! She’s such a gem- so smart and talented and cool. So proud of the work she’s doing!

So, I had a great time browsing her site and curating a beautiful collection of my favorites!

So many cool pieces that I was drawn to for different reasons- the color, the texture, the “fun” factor, the conversation starters, the nostalgia… the beauty of bringing art into your home is you’re choosing what says “you;” what brings you joy. I think sometimes people feel intimidated when choosing art because they think it needs to have a deep meaning that resonates with something super personal within them. The truth is- you can choose something purely because it makes you happy when you look at it! Having a painting of a horse doesn’t have to mean you rode horses as a child. Maybe you just find their coats beautiful! Maybe you find the way their body moves as they gallop, mystifying. Hang art you love, and everything else falls into place.

You can get 10% using code: HANEEN10 when shopping the collection! Find it HERE.

Cheers to the arts!
