Hi, everyone! We’re getting super close to our master bedroom refresh reveal! It’s the final week to work on the New Year New Room Challenge hosted by Casa Watkins Living. Furniture has started arriving! Excited to show you our new nightstands from Home Depot today! As a reminder, this is what we were replacing…
We’ve had this mirrored piece for years, and while it’s lovely, I wanted a wood piece to warm up the room. I’m not a big fan of matching sets, and while those nightstands didn’t actually come with our black canopy bed, the fact that they’re also black makes it feel like a set, so it was time to spice things up. Also, if you read week one’s post, you know that I wanted a chest of drawers for better storage than a two door cabinet.
Soooo, with that said, this is the new nightstand! …
Isn’t it beautiful? And the awesome thing is, it comes with a USB outlet on the back to charge your phone! Didn’t even realize that when I ordered it. Lol!
Here it is set up…
Very excited to start styling! The new chairs should arrive this week, and I’m working on a DIY project for my windows! Stay tuned for a full tutorial. If you love the look of black steal windows but can’t afford to splurge, this is a cheap and easy way to get the look with just paint! It’ll be done for the reveal. Super excited to get our new drapes up when I’m done painting!
That’s is, guys. No huge progress this week besides the nightstands, but we’re getting there! Be sure to come back next Tuesday for the full reveal! And click on the links below to see these other blogger transformations. So fun to watch!
